Terms & Conditions
Agreement Between Both Parties
These Terms & Conditions and also our web-based booking system constitute the entire agreement between you the booker and Grant Scottish Travel. Completion of booking your journey will also indicate that you are bound by the terms & conditions on this page.
Booking & Payment
All bookings MUST be made ONLINE and payment made in full before any journey confirmation is made to the booker.
In the event of a multiple journey booking we can assist with the online booking process on your behalf however payment must be made in full within 6 hours of you receiving your confirmations that we send you. We will send a payment link for you to pay in full, in the event of non payment within the 6 hour time scale the booking will be cancelled and the vehicle and driver will be made available to the next booking made.
Sufficient Travel Time
When booking please allow sufficient time for travel to airports. Grant Scottish Travel will not in any way be responsible for missed flights. As a result allways allow for adverse weather conditions, traffic delays, accidents & breakdowns.
It is the responsibility of the person booking to ensure that journeys are booked for the correct date and time. No refunds will be made for journeys that are booked incorrectly and discovered within 48 hours of the original pickup date and time.
Number Of Passengers & Luggage
You are fully responsibility when booking to make sure the correct taxi has been ordered suitable for the number of people travelling and the luggage space required. Please refer to Our Vehicle Range section on our website homepage. Taxis cannot carry excessive amounts of luggage. Small children count as 1 standard passenger whatever their age. We cannot carry more passengers or luggage than our council licence permits.
Special Disability Requirements
If you have any special requirements such as a passenger disability or require space for a wheel chair or any other item please contact us is in advance so we can make suitable arrangements.
The person booking is fully responsible for the behavior of all passengers. We charge a soiling fee of £80.00 to cover cleaning costs. This charge is enforceable by UK law and must be paid directly to your driver before leaving the vehicle.
Eating or drinking are not permitted in any of our vehicles unless authorised by your driver.
No Smoking Policy
Grant Scottish Travel operate a strict no smoking policy within any vehicle. It is at your drivers discretion if they can stop for a few minutes to allow you to smoke while on a long journey.
Seat Belts & Child/Baby Seats
UK law requires all passengers to wear seatbelts at all times when travelling in a vehicle. It is the responsibility of the person booking to make sure adequate arrangements are made for suitable infant or child seats to be made available for your journey.. We have a limited number of child seats available at no cost however seats must be requested when booking your journey.
Cancellation And Charges
Should you need to cancel your taxi transfer booking for any reason please contact Grant Scottish Travel by email as early as possible. Refunds can ONLY be made to the Card or PayPal account on which the booking was made. All cancelled bookings are subject to a fee of £20.00 or 10% (Whichever Is Greater) to cover administration and Card or PayPal fee’s. NO refunds will be made within 48 hours of pickup time under any circumstances.
We will arrive at your pickup on time and allow you 60 minutes to contact your driver. If you are delayed for a period longer than 1 hour and have not called, your driver will then need to proceed to their next pickup. Please call them and they will inform you when and if they can return. In the event a suitable return time cannot be agreed by both parties and you decided to make alternative transportation arrangements your booking will be cancelled, Your fare will be returned minus the £20.00 cancellation fee and £20.00 to cover driver and fuel costs on the original first pickup attempt.
If for any reason you journeys final destination changes or any extra stops are added your driver will be required to charge extra for any added mileage or time. This must be paid to your driver directly in cash prior to you leaving the vehicle. All fixed fare journeys allow only one pickup and one drop off
